A Better Way to Experience Hearing Care

Exceptional hearing care requires more than technology — it requires time, expertise, and a provider who is accountable for outcomes.

Avalon Hearing was built to move away from high-volume, sales-driven environments and toward a thoughtful, relationship-centered model. We schedule extended appointments, prioritize education, and perform every appropriate best-practice measure to ensure results are not only excellent — but sustainable long term.

Our model focuses on depth of care over volume. By spending meaningful time on testing, counseling, and follow-up, we consistently see stronger outcomes, higher confidence, and lasting success.

A Structured Path to Your Best Hearing

Hearing success is not accidental — it follows a process.

Precision Fitting &
Real Ear Measurement

Technology selection is personalized and unbiased. Every fitting includes Real Ear Measurement — the gold standard of hearing aid verification — ensuring amplification meets prescriptive targets inside your unique ear canal.

Comprehensive Diagnostic
Hearing Evaluation

Every new patient appointment is scheduled for 2 hours to allow for a comprehensive diagnostic workup and an education-centered consultation. We assess hearing thresholds, speech clarity, and real-world communication performance to develop a precise, individualized treatment plan.

Structured Follow-Up
& Optimization

Hearing care does not end at the fitting. We provide scheduled follow-ups, ongoing adjustments, and performance verification to protect your investment and ensure continued clarity over time — even as your hearing changes.

Why Our Patients Experience Stronger, More Reliable Hearing

Better Process. Better Outcomes.

Most hearing challenges are not caused by the device itself — they stem from rushed evaluations, incomplete verification, or limited follow-up. Our model addresses those gaps directly. When clinical best practices are followed consistently and without shortcuts, outcomes improve. Confidence increases. And long-term success becomes far more predictable.

  • We schedule two-hour diagnostic appointments instead of brief screenings.

  • We perform Real Ear Measurement on every fitting — not just when convenient.

  • We operate independently, giving us access to all major manufacturers without bias.

  • We intentionally limit patient volume so we can focus fully on precision and education.

  • And we deliver care in-home and in senior communities, where real-world communication actually happens, while also removing transportation barriers.

Comprehensive Hearing Care

Delivered Where Life Happens

Avalon Hearing is the only mobile-focused hearing practice in Arkansas. Every service we provide, from comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and Real Ear Measurement verification to fittings, refresh appointments, and repairs, can be performed in-home or within senior living communities.

Hearing is highly contextual. The environments where you live, converse, watch television, and connect with family are the environments that shape your success. By evaluating and adjusting devices in those real-world settings, we are able to fine-tune performance with greater precision and address challenges more effectively.

For individuals who are homebound or have difficulty traveling, mobile care removes one of the largest barriers to treatment. For families, it provides reassurance — knowing appointments are unhurried, accessible, and delivered in a familiar environment. For residents in senior communities, it creates continuity, convenience, and consistent follow-up without disruption. Mobile care is not simply about convenience. It is about improving access, increasing precision, and delivering high-level clinical care where it is most meaningful.

“Sam is great! He helped me out in a pinch when my hearing aid fell apart before a long vacation trip. He sent it off to the manufacturer for repair and set me up with a demo pair, so I didn't have to be without. He went above and beyond for me as I'm new to the area and just met him at a Senior Expo a few months ago. I very much appreciate his kindness and professionalism! He is highly recommended by me!”

“So convenient and personal! Very meaningful to have someone coach me through my hearing loss process. I now know that hearing loss is directly connected to decreased brain health and function, and that getting hearing aids will help my brain to create new neural pathways and grow! Thank you so much for your help!”

“Sam is an exceptional professional in every way. He explains everything in detail and is extremely warm and personable. Additionally, he is excellent and extremely patient in handling seniors. My mother is two weeks from 97, and she felt right at home, heard, and expressed how much she enjoyed working with Sam. If you have a loved one who needs this service, look no further!”
